Killing Sailors and Other Short Stories is a collection of works inspired by writings, mythology and artwork from the “Age of Sail.” References such as female piracy, ghost ships and colonialism are represented in these photographs and installations. The works situate themselves in a world of dualities, simultaneously showing vulnerability and strength while addressing the liminal existence of being and desire.
